APPOINTMENTS TO THE ABSA BANK BOARD

In accordance with paragraph 6.42 of the JSE Limited Debt and Specialist Securities Listings
Requirements, investors are informed that, following regulatory approval, Peter Mageza and Ihron
Rensburg have been appointed as independent non-executive directors of Absa Bank, with effect from
1 April 2025. These appointments were made pursuant to the Absa Group Limited Director Nomination
Policy.

Peter and Ihron have been members of the Absa Group Limited Board since 1 August 2023 and
1 October 2019, respectively.
