RESIGNATION OF DESIGNATED COMPANY SECRETARY

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised
that Ms Shamida Smit, the designated Company Secretary of NewGold, representing the Company
Secretary, Absa Secretarial Services Proprietary Limited (Reg. No. 1973/014516/07), has resigned with
effect from 10 September 2024.

The board of directors of the Company wishes to thank Ms Smit for her service and contribution during
her tenure.

Calvin Roux has been appointed as the representative of the Company Secretary with effect from
10 September 2024.
