CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the NewGold board
("Board") is pleased to inform debenture holders that Ms Bonita Diedre Petersen has been appointed
as an Independent Non-executive Director of the Board and Member of the Audit, Risk and Compliance
Committee with effect from Tuesday, 25 June 2024.
Bonita Petersen is currently a freelance consultant and is a member of the Audit Committee at Apex
(Sanne) Nominees. She most recently held the position of Head of Risk, Control & Governance at
Pernod Ricard South Africa with her role involving the establishment of the internal audit, risk,
compliance, legal and governance function, and providing strategic guidance and insights within the
organisation.
NewGold welcomes Ms Petersen to the Board and looks forward to her contribution to the Company.
