BLACK ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT SCHEME OPERATED THROUGH MTNZF ("SCHEME")
1. Distribution of Circular and notice of EGM
MTNZF shareholders ("Shareholders") are referred to the Company's joint announcement with MTN
released on the Stock Exchange News Service of the JSE Limited ("SENS") on Monday, 19 August 2024
containing details of the proposed extension of the scheduled maturity date of the Scheme by three years,
from 23 November 2024 to 23 November 2027 ("Proposed Extension"), and are hereby advised that the
Company has today, 20 September 2024, distributed a circular to Shareholders in respect of the Proposed
Extension ("Circular"), which document incorporates a notice of EGM to be held entirely by electronic
communication at: https://mtnzakhelefuthi.vagm.africa on Monday, 21 October 2024 at 09:00.
The Circular is available in English only. Copies of the Circular are available on MTNZF's website at
https://www.mtnzakhelefuthi.co.za/Home/AGM and may be obtained at the Company's Registered Office,
135 Rivonia Road, Sandton, Gauteng, South Africa during normal business hours from today, 20 September
2024 to Monday, 21 October 2024.

Record date for posting the Circular, being the date by which a Shareholder Friday, 13 September
is required to be recorded as such in MTNZF's share register in order to be
eligible to receive the Circular and notice of EGM
