CHANGES TO THE BOARD – END OF CONTRACT OF EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND FURTHER
EXTENSION


In compliance with paragraph 6.42 of the Debt and Specialist Securities Listings Requirements of the JSE
Limited, the board of directors of KOBWA ("the Board") hereby notifies Noteholders that Mr Sakhiwe
Nkomo's fixed term contract as an executive director and the Operations Director of KOBWA ends on
28 February 2025.

The Board has however today, 28 February 2025, resolved to extend his contract for a further five months
from 1 March 2025 to 31 July 2025, whilst recruitment for a successor is nearing completion. Further
announcements on a new appointment for this position will be made in due course.

Mr Nkomo joined KOBWA in 2014 as a Hydrologist/Integrated Water Management Officer. He was
promoted to Operations Director in 2019 and has served KOBWA diligently as a director for two terms.

The Board, together with the Joint Water Commission, wishes to thank Mr Nkomo for his invaluable
contribution to KOBWA since 2014 and wishes him well in his future endeavours.
