established in terms of Notice No. 6770, promulgated in the Provincial Gazette Extraordinary of 1
October 2000 in terms of section 12(1) read with section 14(2) of the Local Government: Municipal
Structures Act, 1998, as amended)

RETIREMENT OF DEBT OFFICER AND APPOINTMENT OF ACTING DEBT OFFICER

In compliance with paragraph 6.39 of the JSE Limited Debt and Specialist Securities Listings
Requirements, debt holders are advised that the current debt officer, Mr. Kgwadiphokane Christopher
Thipe, Divisional Head: Treasury Office, has retired with immediate effect, due to health reasons.

Mr. Trevor Gareth Mnisi, in his capacity as the Chief Financial Officer of City of Tshwane will take on
the role of acting debt officer with immediate effect, until such time as Mr, Thipe's vacancy has been
filled.

The Accounting Officer of the City of Tshwane confirms that he has considered and is satisfied with the
competence, qualifications and experience of Mr. Mnisi to take on the role of acting debt officer.
