                     APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR


In accordance with the Listings Requirements of the Botswana Stock Exchange Limited and the
Johannesburg Stock Exchange, the Board of Directors of the Company ("the Board") hereby
notifies its shareholders of the following:

   1. That Ms. Natalie Graaff ("Natalie") has been appointed in terms of the Company's
      Constitution, as a non-executive director of Choppies with effect from 20 January 2025.
      Natalie's appointment is subject to confirmation by the shareholders of the Company at its
      next annual general meeting.

       Natalie holds both a BCom (Law) and LLB degrees from the University of Pretoria. She
       was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa in February 2009. Natalie
       has more than 15 years of experience as an attorney as an in-house legal counsel and
       has practiced as a litigation attorney and managed legal compliance work for various high
       profile South African companies and clients.

       The Board would like to take this opportunity to extend a warm welcome to Natalie. We
       believe her appointment will strengthen the Board.

The Company has a primary listing on the BSE and a secondary listing on the JSE.
