SHORT FORM ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE AUDITED ANNUAL FINANCIAL RESULTS
FOR THE YEAR ENDED 31 MARCH 2024 AND AVAILABILITY OF B-BBEE ANNUAL COMPLIANCE
REPORT

Shareholders are advised that the Company's Integrated Annual Report containing the audited annual
financial results for the twelve months ended 31 March 2024 were published on 25 June 2024 ("Full
Announcement").

Financial highlights

The financial results for the year ended 31 March 2024 are set out below, compared to the twelve months
ended 31 March 2023 ("the Comparative Period"):

    -   Net asset value per share (ordinary and preference shares) decreased to R14.15 from R14.66 for
        the Comparative Period.

    -   Headline earnings and basic earnings per share (ordinary and preference shares) decreased to a
        loss of 51 cents from earnings of 62 cents for the Comparative Period.

    -   Income decreased to R1 548 259 from R22 203 298 and net profit before tax decreased to a loss
        of R25 546 495 from a profit of R31 179 323 for the Comparative Period.

    -   No cash dividend was declared in respect of the current or Comparative Period.

Audit Report

Forvis Mazars has issued an unmodified audit opinion on the audited financial statements for the year
ended 31 March 2024. The auditor's report does not necessarily report on all the information contained in
this announcement. Shareholders are therefore advised to obtain a copy of the auditor's report together
with the accompanying financial information.

Annual compliance report – Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Act 46 of 2013 (the "Act")
