CHANGE TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND BOARD COMMITTEES

In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders of Quantum Foods are
hereby advised that Mr Pieter Francois Theron (Piet) Burger has been appointed as an independent, non-executive
director of the Company and as a member of both the Company's Audit and Risk Committee and Social, Ethics and
Transformation Committee, with effect from 29 July 2024.

Mr Burger holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree (Chemical) as well as a Master of Business Administration from the
University of Stellenbosch. Mr Burger is a seasoned business executive, acknowledged strategist and respected
chemical engineer with over 30 years of manufacturing experience. He has held executive positions at both Tiger
Brands Limited and Pioneer Food Group Limited ("Pioneer Foods"), together with various management positions at
Pioneer Foods.

The board of directors of Quantum Foods would like to welcome Mr Burger into his new role and looks forward to his
contribution to the Company.
