PICK N PAY STORES LIMITED – DEALING IN SECURITIES BY A DIRECTOR AND BY THE COMPANY
SECRETARY

Pick n Pay shareholders are referred to the announcement released on the Stock Exchange News Service
("SENS") of the JSE Limited ("JSE") and the A2X News Service ("ANS") of the A2X Market on Monday, 5
August 2024 relating to the conclusion of the Company's fully underwritten renounceable rights offer to
qualifying Pick n Pay shareholders ("Rights Offer").

In that announcement, shareholders were advised that CEO Sean Summers and Company Secretary
Vaughan Pierce had sold a portion of their Letters of Allocation ("Rights") related to shares held in the
Pick n Pay restricted Forfeitable Share Plan ("RSP") - in order to raise sufficient funds to subscribe for the
Rights Offer shares applicable to the remaining Rights. The announcement advised that a further trade in
Pick n Pay shares would be required in order to settle the tax arising from the transaction.
