OPTIPOWER, IN JOINT VENTURE WITH COXABENGOA, AWARDED A SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC
RENEWABLE ENERGY CONTRACT FOR A SOUTH AFRICAN MINING COMPANY

The Group is pleased to announce that OptiPower (a trading division of Murray & Roberts Limited), in
joint venture with Coxabengoa, has been awarded a contract to construct a 100 MWp solar photovoltaic
("PV") renewable energy facility in the Northwest Province for a South African mining company.

The contract value is approximately R1,2 billion, with OptiPower's share in the joint venture being 50%.
The scope of work includes the construction and installation of free issue PV modules, trackers, inverters
and the procurement, construction and installation of main transformers, and associated infrastructure for
substations and overhead power lines

OptiPower provides engineering, procurement and construction solutions for high and medium voltage
power lines, high and medium voltage substations, and electrical balance of plant scopes of work for
renewable energy projects. Coxabengoa is a Spanish energy infrastructure developer with a presence in
30 countries.
