The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Johannes Jacobus Snyman (Hannes) as Mpact Group CFO and an Executive Director of Mpact Limited and Mpact Operations Proprietary Limited with effect from 1 June 2024. Hannes is a qualified Chartered Accountant (SA) and holds a Master of Business Administration degree (with distinction) from the Warwick Business School and a Bachelor of Accountancy Honours degree from the University of Stellenbosch. Hannes was Group Corporate Finance Manager of Mpact from May 2014 to December 2021. In that role he was instrumental in arranging and implementing the Group's bank funding, share buy-back, B-BBEE restructuring, and various acquisitions and disposals. He also contributed extensively to the Group's strategic planning and played a key role in other investments and a number of major capital projects undertaken during that period. Since January 2022, Hannes has been the Divisional Commercial Manager for Mpact Recycling and an Executive Director of Recycling Consolidated Holdings Proprietary Limited, a Group subsidiary. Prior to joining Mpact, Hannes worked at Price Waterhouse Coopers in London, Johannesburg and the Channel Islands with his last role being a Senior Manager in the Deals Team.
