APPOINTMENT OF LEAD INDEPENDENT DIRECTOR AND INDEPENDENT NON-
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

In compliance with paragraphs 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings
Requirements, Mpact shareholders are hereby informed of the
following changes to the Board with immediate effect:

  1. Mr Penuell Cornwell Sibusiso Luthuli ("Sbu") has been
     appointed as the Lead Independent Director of the Company
     and of Mpact Operations (Pty) Ltd, a major subsidiary of
     Mpact. Sbu joined Mpact as an Independent Non-executive
     Director in December 2018 and is currently the Chairman
     of the Remuneration Committee, a member of the Nomination
     Committee, the interim Chairman of the Audit and Risk
     Committee and also a Trustee of the Mpact Share Incentive
     Scheme Trust.

  2. Mr Saleh Mayet has been appointed as an Independent Non-
     executive Director of the Company and of Mpact Operations
     (Pty) Ltd. Saleh is a Chartered Accountant with well over
     three decades of experience in the Anglo American Group.
     Prior to his retirement at the end of March 2019, he was
     an Executive Director of Anglo American South Africa and
     for the last eleven years of his career held the position
     of Head of Finance. He was also an integral member of the
     executive team providing key leadership, direction and
     strategy to the South African corporate office and
     region.   He has held several listed and unlisted Board
     positions and brings with him extensive experience across
     the full spectrum of corporate activities. He currently
     serves as an Independent Non-executive Director of Astral
     Foods Limited and Motus Holdings Limited.
