DISCLOSURE OF CHANGE IN BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN MAHUBE SECURITIES

In accordance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, 71 of 2008, as amended, and section
3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are hereby advised that the Company
has received formal notification in the prescribed form that the Public Investment Corporation Soc
Limited has acquired a beneficial interest in the securities of the Company, such that its entire beneficial
interest in the securities in the Company has increased from 44.694% to 45.229% of the total issued
share capital of the Company.

As required in terms of section 122(3) of the Companies Act, the required notice has been filed with
the Takeover Regulation Panel.

The board of directors of the Company ("the Board") accepts responsibility for the information contained
in this announcement as it pertains to the Company. To the best of the Board's knowledge and belief,
the information contained in this announcement is true and nothing has been omitted which is likely to
affect the importance of such information.
