APPOINTMENT OF INTERIM MANAGING DIRECTOR & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

MC Mining Limited (MC Mining or the Company) announces that Non-Executive Director Christine He
has been appointed as interim Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO), effective
from 1 July 2024. Ms He is chairman of the Company's Remuneration Committee and is a member of
the Social and Ethics Committee. Ms He has a bachelor's degree in English Literature from Sichuan
University and has over 25 years' of senior management experience including, amongst others, the
financing, development and execution of large mining and construction projects.


Mathews Senosi, MC Mining's Interim Chairman, said: "On behalf of the Board I would like to thank
Ms He for agreeing to serve as interim MD & CEO. Christine brings a wealth of commercial, financing
and mining expertise that will be valuable to the Company as we enhance the early coal strategy and
advance the funding for the development of our shovel ready, flagship Makhado steelmaking hard
coking coal project."
