The Company hereby advises that a reasonable degree of certainty exists that, for the six- month period ended 31 August 2024 ("Current Period"): – earnings per share ("EPS") will decrease by at least 20%, which is a decrease of 3.08 cents per share, when compared to the EPS of 15.38 cents for the six-month period ended 31 August 2023 ("Prior Period"); and – headline earnings per share ("HEPS") will decrease by at least 20%, which is a decrease of 3.09 cents per share when compared to the HEPS of 15.46 cents for the Prior Period. The results of the Company have been negatively impacted by the difficult local and international trading conditions, such as high interest and inflation rates. A further trading statement will be released once the Company has reasonable certainty of the expected EPS and HEPS ranges for the Current Period.
