its subsidiaries the "Ibex Group")


CAUTIONARY ANNOUNCEMENT


Ibex Investment stakeholders are hereby advised that the Company is considering making a
potential offer to all holders of the non-redeemable, non-cumulative, non-participating
preference shares in the issued capital of Ibex and listed on the JSE Limited ("Preference
Shares") to repurchase the Preference Shares, subject to the relevant shareholder, Ibex
Group lender and regulatory approvals ("the Potential Repurchase").

The Potential Repurchase may have a material effect on the price of the Preference Shares
and therefore Preference Shareholders are advised to exercise caution when dealing in the
Preference Shares until a further announcement is made.

The Ibex Investment board of directors collectively and individually accept responsibility for
the information contained in this announcement and certify that, to the best of their knowledge
