In accordance with paragraph 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No.71 of 2008 as amended, regulation
121(2)(b) of the Companies Regulations, 2011 and paragraph 3.83(b) of the JSE Limited Listings
Requirements, shareholders are advised that Hulamin has received formal notification in the prescribed
form that Mr. Volker Schuette has increased his beneficial interest in the securities of the Company, such
that his total beneficial holding of securities in the Company has increased to 6.7% of the total issued
share capital of the Company.

As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, the required notice has been filed with
the Takeover Regulation Panel.

The board of directors of Hulamin ("the Board") accepts responsibility for the information contained in this
announcement as it pertains to the Company. To the best of the Board's knowledge and belief, the
