SHORT FORM ANNOUNCEMENT IN RELATION TO THE UNAUDITED CONDENSED INTERIM
CONSOLIDATED FINANCIAL RESULTS FOR THE SIX MONTHS ENDED 30 SEPTEMBER 2024

Shareholders are advised that the Company's unaudited condensed interim consolidated financial
results for the six months ended 30 September 2024 were published on SENS on 18 November 2024
("Full Announcement").

Financial highlights

The financial results for the six months ended 30 September 2024, when compared to the six months
ended 30 September 2023 ("the Comparative Period"), are set out below:

    -   Net Asset Value per share (ordinary and preference shares) increased by 25.9% to R15.40 per
        share from R12.23 per share for the Comparative Period.

    -   Basic earnings per share (ordinary and preference shares) increased by 357.11 cents per share
        to 114.11 cents per share from a loss of 243 cents per share for the Comparative Period.

    -   Headline earnings per share (ordinary and preference shares) increased by 356.77 cents per
        share to 113.77 cents per share from a loss of 243 cents per share for the Comparative Period.

    -   Total income increased to R951 766 961 from R1 500 000 for the Comparative Period and net
        profit before tax increased to R33 775 420 from a loss of R120 854 853 for the Comparative
        Period.

    -   No dividend has been declared in respect of the current or Comparative Period.
