FRB is a wholly owned subsidiary of FirstRand Limited (FirstRand or the group). The JSE Limited has approved FirstRand's
sustainable finance framework, and the second-party opinion (SPO) issued thereon. FRB intends to issue thematic (e.g.
green, social and/or sustainability) instruments under this framework going forward.
