DISCLOSURE OF BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SECURITIES

In accordance with the JSE Limited Listings Requirements and Section 122(3) of the Companies Act, No
71 of 2008 (the "Companies Act"), shareholders are advised that Cashbuild has received formal
notification from Ninety One SA (Pty) Ltd ("Ninety One") that it has acquired a beneficial interest in the
ordinary shares of the Company, such that the total beneficial interest of Cashbuild ordinary shares held by
Ninety One is 5.00% of the total issued ordinary shares of the Company.

The board of Cashbuild accepts responsibility for the information contained in this announcement and
confirms that, to the best of their knowledge and belief, such information is true and this announcement
does not omit anything likely to affect the importance of such information. The Board has relied on the
accuracy of the information contained in the notification received from Ninety One in making this statement.

Cashbuild has, as required by section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, filed the required notices with the
Takeover Regulation Panel.
