UPDATE TO DIVIDEND PAYMENT PROCESS
Shareholders are referred to the announcements released on the Botswana Stock Exchange ("BSE") and JSE
Limited ("JSE") on 29 February 2024 and 15 March 2024, wherein the Company declared a dividend, in respect
of the six months period ended 31 December 2023, to shareholders appearing on the Company's JSE and BSE
share registers on Friday, 05 April 2024 ("Dividend").Shareholders are also referred to the subsequent
announcement made on 25 March 2024 advising shareholders registered on the BSE share register which are
entitled to a cash payment of dividends of less than BWP15 of the process for claiming such dividends from the
Company ("25 March Announcement").
The Company has received various requests from the shareholders following the 25 March Announcement. In
order to assist shareholders, the Board has resolved that the process set out in the 25 March Announcement be
withdrawn, and the Company will make payment of all dividends of BWP15 and less directly to the relevant
shareholders, by way of EFTs (electronic fund transfers) to the bank accounts registered with CSD.
The Company will still be holding the dividends for those shareholders whose bank details are not accessible for
EFTs, including the shareholders in the omnibus CSD account.
Shareholders who have not opened CSD accounts are encouraged to do so and to provide their banking details
to enable dividends to be electronically transferred to them.
The Board is therefore entitled to hold the Dividend accruing to such shareholders in trust, until lawfully claimed
by the shareholders.
Shareholders are advised that dividends unclaimed for 3 years after the due date for payment may become the
property of the Company and used for the benefit of the Company.
The abovementioned circumstances will not be applicable to shareholders registered on the JSE.
The Company has a primary listing on the BSE and a secondary listing on the JSE.
