Trading Statement


In terms of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon
as they are reasonably certain that the financial results for the current reporting period will differ by at least 20%
from the prior comparative period.

Significant events affecting the Group's performance for the year ended 31 December 2024 (the "current period")
included:

-   The conclusion of the Sea Harvest Group Limited ("Sea Harvest") acquisition of certain subsidiaries of
    Terrasan Group Limited, which resulted in Sea Harvest no longer being a subsidiary of Brimstone, as
    announced on SENS on 15 May 2024. This resulted in the recognition of a net loss on deemed disposal, which
    is included in earnings/(losses), but excluded from headline earnings; and

-   An increase in fair value gains.

For the current period, Brimstone expects to report:

-   Headline earnings per share ("HEPS") of between 104.4 cents and 111.6 cents, compared to HEPS of 71.6
    cents reported for the year ended 31 December 2023 (the "prior comparative period"), representing an
    increase in HEPS of between 46% and 56% for the current period; and

-   A loss per share of between 76.6 cents and 88.4 cents, compared to earnings per share ("EPS") of 117.9
    cents reported for the prior comparative period, representing a decrease in EPS for the current period.

Shareholders are advised that the financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been
reviewed or reported on by the Group's auditors.

Brimstone's results for the current period are expected to be published on SENS on or about 4 March 2025.
