Trading update



In terms of paragraph 3.4 (b) of the JSE Limited ("JSE") Listings Requirements, companies are required to publish a trading statement as soon as a reasonable degree of certainty exists that the financial results for the period to be reported on will differ by at least 20% from the previous corresponding period.
A review by management of the financial results for the year ended 29 February 2024 has indicated, with a reasonable degree of certainty, that earnings per share ("EPS") of Brikor is expected to be a profit of between 0.9 cents and 1.1 cents per share compared to that of the previous corresponding year which reported a loss in EPS of 0.7 cents per share for the year ended 28 February 2023. This equates to an increase in EPS of more than 100% when compared to the previous reporting year.
Headline earnings per share ("HEPS") is expected to be a profit of between 1.2 cents and 1.4 cents per share compared to the previous corresponding year which reported a loss in HEPS of 0.1 cents per share for the year ended 28 February 2023. This equates to an increase in HEPS of more than 100% when compared to the previous reporting year.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed or reported on by Brikor's auditors.
