TRADING STATEMENT

In accordance with paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, companies are
required to publish a trading statement as soon as a reasonable degree of certain exists that the
financial results for the next financial period to be reported on will differ by at least 20% or more from
those of the previous corresponding period.

Accordingly, a review by management of the financial results for the year ended 31 August 2024 has
indicated that the Group expects to report:

- a basic loss per share ("LPS") of between 53,97 and 90,07 cents, reflecting a decrease in the loss of
between 70% and 50% compared to LPS of 180,53 cents reported for year ended 31 August 2023; and

- a headline loss per share ("HLPS") of between 54,16 and 89,46 cents, reflecting a decrease in the loss
of between 69% and 49% compared to the HLPS of 176,46 cents reported for year ended 31
August 2023.

The increase in LPS and HLPS compared to the prior period is primarily due to the cost cutting
initiatives and improved gross profit margins.

The financial information on which this trading statement is based has not been reviewed by AYO's
auditors.

The Group is in the process of finalising its financial results for year ended 31 August 2024, which are
scheduled to be released on SENS on or about 20 December 2024.
