TRP121: NOTIFICATION OF INCREASE IN BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN ALTRON SECURITIES

In compliance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008 ("Act"), regulation 121(2)(b) of
the Companies Act Regulations 2011 and the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised
that on 5 September 2024, Altron received formal notification in terms of section 122(1) of the Act, that
Public Investment Corporation SOC Limited ("PIC") acquired a beneficial interest in the securities of the
Company, such that its beneficial interest is 10.248% of the issued share capital of Altron.

Altron has filed the required notice with the Takeover Regulation Panel in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the
Act.

The Altron board of directors accepts responsibility for the information contained in this announcement
