PUBLICATION OF BUSINESS RESCUE PLAN OF TONGAAT HULETT AND
SUBSIDIARIES

Shareholders are referred to the SENS announcement released on 30 May 2023 regarding
the results of the creditor’s meeting to consider and vote on the business rescue plan of
Tongaat Hulett Developments (Pty) Limited (“THD”). Shareholders are hereby advised that
the business rescue plans for the Company and two of its wholly owned subsidiaries, Tongaat
Hulett Sugar South Africa (Pty) Limited (“Tongaat Hulett Sugar”) and Voermol Feeds (Pty)
Limited (“Voermol”), who are also in business rescue (together “the Companies”), have now
been published as follows:

Tongaat Hulett – published 31 May 2023;
Tongaat Hulett Sugar – published 31 May 2023; and
Voermol Feeds – published 31 May 2023.

Copies of the three business rescue plans are available on the Company’s website at
www.tongaat.com/business-rescue.

Meetings of affected persons to consider and vote on the aforementioned business rescue
plans will be held as follows:

Tongaat Hulett – will be held on 14 June 2023 at 13H00;
Tongaat Hulett Sugar – will be held on 14 June 2023 at 11H00; and
Voermol Feeds – will be held on 14 June 2023 at 09H00.

Due to geographical location and the number of affected persons of the Companies, the
business rescue practitioners have taken the decision to convene the meetings virtually, each
as a Microsoft Teams Live Event. Details of the virtual meetings are contained in the relevant
notices, which notices are available on the Company’s website at www.tongaat.com/business-
rescue.
