TRADING STATEMENT


In accordance with paragraph 3.4(b) of the Listing Requirements of JSE Limited, a listed company is
required to publish a trading statement as soon as they are reasonably certain that the financial results
for the financial period to be reported on next will differ by at least 20% from those of the prior
comparative period.

Accordingly, the Group expects basic earnings per share for the six months ending 28 February 2023
to be between 0.87 and 1.49 cents per share, as compared to basic earnings per share of 3.07 cents
reported on for the six months ended 28 February 2022 representing a decrease of between -71.56%
and -51.56%.

The Group also expects to report headline earnings per share for the six months ended 28 February
2023, to be between 0.87 and 1.49 cents per share, as compared to headline earnings per share of
3.07 cents per share reported on for the six months ended 28 February 2022 representing a decrease
of between -71.56% and -51.56%.

The Company’s financial results for the six months ended 28 February 2023 are expected to be
released on SENS on or about 25 May 2023.
