APPOINTMENT TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTOR
In accordance with paragraph 6.39 of the Debt Listings Requirements [and in
terms of the Board's forward-looking succession planning], the board of
directors of the Company ("Board"), wishes to advise Bondholders of the
following:

As of 1st of January 2024, Mr. Michael Dietz (currently the Executive Director
and Chief Executive Officer: Daimler Truck Southern Africa) will succeed Mr.
Kay-Wolf Ahlden as the new Head of the Regional Centre MENA in Dubai.

As of 1st of January 2024, Ms. Maretha Gerber (currently the Vice President
Sales and Marketing: Daimler Truck Southern Africa) will succeed Mr. Michael
Dietz as the new Head of the Regional Centre SOUTHERN AFRICA in Pretoria,
fulfilling the role of Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer: Daimler
Truck Southern Africa.

The appointment of Ms Maretha Gerber has been made in terms of Issuer's
nomination policy and the Issuer nomination committee is satisfied that,
following Ms Maretha Gerber's appointment, the Board collectively has the
necessary skills, expertise, and diversity to effectively fulfil its
obligations.

The aforementioned is subject to all applicable internal approvals of Daimler
Truck AG.
