            Trading statement for unaudited interim group financial results for the six months ended
                                              30 September 2022
SepHold is finalising the financial results for the six months ended 30 September 2022 to be released on SENS
on or about 14 November 2022 and published in the press on or about 15 November 2022.

In terms of paragraph 3.4(b) of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, companies are required to publish a
trading statement as soon as they are satisfied, with a reasonable degree of certainty, that the financial results
for the period to be reported upon next will differ by at least 20% from those of the previous corresponding
reporting period.

Accordingly, SepHold, Métier Mixed Concrete (Pty) Ltd (“Métier” or “the subsidiary”) and Dangote Cement SA
(Pty) Ltd (“SepCem” or “the associate”), collectively referred to as “the group”, advises shareholders that, the
basic earnings per share (“BEPS”) and headline earnings per share (“HEPS”) for the six months ended
30 September 2022 compared to the six months ended 30 September 2021 (“H1 2022”) are expected to increase
as follows:
   • the BEPS to be between 10.10 cents and 10.66 cents representing an increase of between 45% and 53%
     (H1 2022: BEPS at 6.98 cents), and
   • the HEPS to be between 11.11 cents and 11.67 cents representing an increase of between 58% and 66%
     (H1 2022: HEPS at 7.03 cents).

SepCem has a December year-end as a subsidiary of Dangote Cement PLC, therefore the associate’s figures
incorporated in the interim results refer to the six months ended 30 June 2022.
The financial information on which this trading statement is based, has not been reviewed or reported on by the
Company’s external auditors.
