Anglo American Platinum agrees to extension of notice date for the purchase-of-concentrate agreement with
Royal Bafokeng Platinum

Anglo American Platinum refers shareholders to the announcement made by Royal Bafokeng Platinum Limited
on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange News Service today, detailing the agreement to an extension of the notice
date for the purchase-of-concentrate agreement (of either 17% or 50% of Anglo American Platinum’s
purchased concentrate) to 10 February 2024. The termination date will remain 11 August 2024 or a later date,
no longer than 18 months from the date notice, at the election from Royal Bafokeng Resources Proprietary
Limited.
