EXTENSION OF RETIREMENT OF DIRECTOR

In compliance with paragraph 3.59 of the Listings Requirements of the JSE Limited, the following
information is disclosed.

Shareholders are advised that Richard Rushton, Group Chief Executive Officer of Distell, will reach
the Company’s normal retirement age in March 2023.

The Distell board is pleased to announce that it has agreed with Richard Rushton to extend his
employment contract for a period which is dependent on the timing of the conclusion of the
transaction between Distell and Heineken International B.V. detailed in Distell’s circular to its
shareholders dated 17 January 2022.
