Riaan was, since January 2022, previously employed by City Property. The Asset and Property Management Agreement between Octodec and City Property Administration Proprietary Limited ("City Property" or the "Manager") provides that, should Octodec be the employer of the financial director or chief financial officer (the "chief financial officer"), Octodec is entitled to appropriately adjust the asset management fee payable to the Manager as a consequence of the reduction in services which the Manager is appointed to perform as a result of Octodec assuming the direct cost of employing the chief financial officer.
