Mr Visser, who was the CEO of Remgro Limited, served as a non-executive director of the company since November 2005, representing Remgro Limited, which holds a 43.4% interest in Mediclinic through Industrial Partnership Investments Limited. Mr Visser was also a member of the company`s Remuneration and Nominations Committee and Investment Sub-committee. Mr Visser was an exceptional leader and business man. He made a particularly significant contribution to Mediclinic and was also involved in the formative years of the company. The board and employees of Mediclinic extend their most sincere condolences to Mr Visser`s family and wish them strength in this difficult time.
